Survival Experiences
Have any of you got any interestng stories to tell about street
survival experience you have had or witnessed. I have had a few
incidents in the past where I have had confrontations where survival
has come into play. I was out and about in Manchester one night with a
few friends and i was stood waiting for entry to one of the clubs. when
boom I felt this really strange feeling like a warm sensation,
unbeknown to me I had just had a glass bottle smashed over my head.. I
was still coming to terms with what happened when one of my mates
shouted watch out. The guy who bottled me his mate had approached an
went to stab me with a screwdriver.
But thanks to my mate and
now ready and waiting due to the action from the previous attack I saw
the screwdriver heading my way so I quickly grabbed the guys wrist an
kept hold so he could not stab me. With my other arm i managed to punch
him in the jaw which made a massive loud crack. His jaw was broken it
had dropped it looked weird. he was clutching his face this time his
mates had left him there which is something I would never do to my
mates but hey now was my opportunity to get out of there. one of my
other mates who had been there phoned his dad to come an get us and
take us to the hospital. I had blood everywhere an glass stuck in my
head it looked alot worse than it was due to the tiny bits of glass
making my head bleed.
I felt it the next day it didn't half hurt i had a massive headache that lasted for about a week.
But
at least I am here to tell the tale. It just shows how you react during
situations that are there to test us in life, for every action there is
a reaction which, is where the survival mode comes in.
