Opportunity

Thought I would start a post to get a conversation going

Most crime including violent is oppurtunity based.
What I mean by that is if there is an opportunity to commit a crime cos it seems easy or the payback is worth it some crooks will take that chance.
For example. If there is a girl walking down the street and she has her bag over her opposite shoulder bag closed purse firmly Locked away.
In contrast her friend has the bag hanging off the one shoulder bag open purse on the top.

There is a big opportunity for the purse to be robbed.

If youre awareness is down and you are not switched on or drunk on your own or walking somewhere in the dark that is notorius for drug dealers then again you are presenting an opportunity to be attacked.
Wether for some kind of gain monetary or jewellery or whatever or cos it fills a personal need in an attacker.

So take away the opportunity have a positive gait, stay alert and aware and be prepared if needs be.
